Accounts Executive (US Accounting)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, disbursements, vouchers, and receipts. In this role, you will verify and reconcile invoices, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. You will support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and provide financial data to management for decision-making.
The position requires a degree in Accounting or Finance, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in tools like QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle, or other ERP systems. You will ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations while supporting audit activities and coordinating with external auditors. Experience in US accounting practices, article ship under a CA, or previous auditing exposure will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily transactions: AP/AR, disbursements, vouchers, receipts
- Verify invoices, reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly financial statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, performance reports
- Ensure compliance, assist audits, handle financial inquiries
Must Have
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance (B.Com/M.Com/MBA)
- 2+ years of experience in US Accounting
- Comfortable working in night shifts
- Skilled in QuickBooks/Zohobooks/SAP/Tally/Oracle ERP
- Strong accuracy, analysis, problem-solving abilities
- Excellent English communication and multitasking
Nice to have
- Experience with US accounting practices
- Articleship or work under Chartered Accountant
